What to Expect?
Your complete surf lesson experience from start to finish
Lesson Process
1. Booking & Confirmation
After booking, you'll receive a confirmation with all details including pick-up time (if applicable) and what to bring.
2. Meeting Point Option
On the day of your lesson, we will meet directly at Balangan Beach at the time we have scheduled together.
3. Beach Introduction
Meet your instructor, get fitted for equipment, and learn about ocean safety and beach conditions for the day.
4. Land Training
Around 15-20 minutes of on-land instruction covering paddling technique, pop-up, stance, and wave timing.
5. Water Session
90 minutes in the water with your instructor by your side, helping you catch waves and giving real-time feedback.
6. Feedback & Photos
After your session, we'll review what you learned and share your photos/videos with tips for improvement.
Preparations
What to Bring
- Swimsuit (wear it under your clothes)
- Sunscreen (reef-safe preferred)
- Towel and change of clothes
- Water bottle (we provide refills)
- Cash for locker rental (optional)

Meeting Point Direction
Look for our blue Holy Surf School flag at the northern end of Balangan Beach, near the cliffs. Our hut is right on the sand with surfboards lined up outside.
